Welcome to the official new and updated
Chaffee R-2 School District Website!

This website has been prepared in the hope that it will become a valuable source of school news and timely information for parents, students, and community members.  It has been developed to enable all visitors of  the site to become familiar with our school, its policies, and other procedures that are basic for the smooth functioning of our school, as well as to provide updated school news, schedules and events.  

Our school has a very long tradition, and our faculty and staff takes great pride in providing a safe and secure learning environment, while at the same time offering a wide array of exciting and challenging academic programs.   As a school district rich in the tradition of excellence, Chaffee R-2 schools is a reflection of our community.   High academic achievement is a priority for our students, faculty, and staff.  Along with academic excellence, Chaffee R-2 students excel in fine arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities.  Our entire staff is committed to establishing a school environment that allows our students to flourish and to grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

Put the Blue Jays to Sleep
Wake Up with FBLA & FCCLA – Pajama Day

All students should wear their favorite pajamas and house shoes to school.  School dress code must be met.  All FBLA and FCCLA members who are dressed in their P.J.s will be served breakfast in Mr. Atkins’ room at 7:45.  All teachers are welcome to join us!! 

Tuesday
Tie Up the Blue Jays

FBLA/FCCLA Ugly Shirt and Wacky Tie Day
Find the ugliest shirt & wackiest tie (school dress code must be met).   The student with the ugliest shirt and wackiest tie will receive a $10 gift certificate to a Chaffee business of his/her choice.  
Chaffee Business Recognition Day
FBLA is sponsoring a “Guess the Chaffee Business” day that will allow students to learn more about Chaffee businesses.  Clues about three selected Chaffee businesses will be posted at the beginning of each hour on the wall by Mrs. Wachter’s computer lab.  The first person who correctly guesses all 3 businesses will win a $10 gift certificate to a Chaffee business of his/her choice.

Show the Blue Jays We Mean Business

FBLA/FCCLA Dress for Success Day

Dress in professional business attire or the attire for the occupation/career of your choice.  You should dress for the career you want to be “when you grow up” (school dress code must be met).  The best dressed student will receive a $10 gift certificate to a Chaffee business of his/her choice.

Hats Off to the Devils

Hats Off to FBLA & Show Your True Colors

All CHS students should wear a favorite hat (must be appropriate for school)!  Also, FBLA members should wear their FBLA t-shirts and hoodies.

Show your Red Devil spirit by wearing crazy red and black!
